INDONESIA STORY 1
One day Pastor Tandi noticed a policeman standing outside his home looking intently at the chickens in his backyard. When Pastor Tandi greeted him, the man told him, “I see you have a red chicken. This is very good. I need a red chicken. Please name your price and I will pay it.” Pastor Tandi could tell the man did not look well. He knew that this red chicken would be used for black magic in some sort of healing ritual. He told the policeman that his red chicken is not for sale, but if the policeman wants true healing then to come inside with him. The policeman agreed, and after they sat down he told Pastor Tandi his story…
The policeman had been in love with a girl. They cared for each other a lot, but there was another man who wanted her for his own and was very jealous. Soon this man began to cast curses on both the policeman and the woman. The woman soon died. The policeman was now experiencing great internal pain, likes knives and needles going through his insides, and he knew he needed healing soon or he too would likely die. So he figured he needed a greater black magic spell to combat the curse attacking his body.
Pastor Tandi then shared with him about the true Healer. He shared the Gospel with the policeman and told him that if he renounces his sin and accepts Christ, that Christ would become his protector and will deliver him from the curse. The policeman gratefully accepted Christ, and just as he did this he felt the curse being lifted from his body. He was ecstatic!!! Pastor Tandi told the policeman to return to his home once a week so he can teach him more about God. The policeman agreed and left the house in joy.
But after just one visit a week later, Pastor Tandi never saw the policeman again. Despite the man receiving the Truth and experiencing such a powerful deliverance, something caused him to quit coming and return to his regular way of life. It was likely fear, that although he was delivered once, he felt it might not always happen. Fear and unbelief. Please pray against these strongholds in Indonesia.
Another story tomorrow…
