  • Last night I watched the movie Transformers with some friends (good movie, go watch it) and I got back to Geon around 11:30pm.  Soo Hwan and Go Hyun, both senior boys in high school, saw me outside and we talked a little.  Soo Hwan's English exam was the next day so I let him come up to my apartment and helped explain some of what he was studying.  The boys then asked me some other questions including, "Do you like Korea?"  I told them Korea is okay, but if it weren't for Geon Home I wouldn't be here.  They asked me why and I ended up sharing different testimonies with them, including how God led me here and how I first met God.  Go Hyun asked me, "Do you really hear God's voice?"  I told him "Yes," and that God also speaks in dreams and other ways as well.  Both Soo Hwan and Go Hyun said to themselves, "That would be so good."  The kids' ears and eyes have yet to been opened to hearing and seeing God.  I'm thankful God is granting me these opportunities to share and plant seeds of faith.  I want to see true change in this home... kids not just accepting Christ but giving their lives to Him and hungering and thirsting for more of Him with each day.  Holy Spirit come to my home.  Open their spiritual ears and eyes God.  Be glorified here.  Amen.

  • Hey John-Michael,

It has been really encouraging reading your e-mails and your entries and just seeing what God has been doing in your life as well as the lives of the students in Geon. I bet you can definitely see more of God's heart when you interact and pray for the students! Welcoming those young ones as Christ would and I hope and pray that they too will know the great joy and satisfaction in knowing and trust their lives to Christ Jesus our Lord!
    Praise the Lord
