Recently my friends Jane and Melissa came and visited my home. We took four of the younger girls and Kyung Mi dorm mother out for dinner. Jane knows the girls and Kyung Mi well while Melissa is a prayer sponsor for one of the girls, Soo Jin. We first had 돼지갈비 (pig ribs) and then we had 아이스크림 (ice cream). Good times… enjoy the pics!
With Hae Ji
Tearing into the meat
Eun Ji with a mouthful of rice… I enjoy eating with my kids, I don’t feel obligated to try and act civilized…
Se Bin and Hae Ji looking up at the TV, me looking at the food… I know my priorities
Soo Jin with one of the many weird green things you eat with the meat… looked like grass to me…

Se Bin and Hae Ji eating peppers… me just smiling
Melissa, Soo Jin, and Eun Ji
Eun Ji and Jane again
After the meat we went to Baskin Robbins (meat and then ice cream, a perfect night)… eating ice cream Korean style: a pint of three flavors, everyone sharing from the same container… we got two pints, so we let the girls devour one while us older peoples slowly enjoyed our own pint… of course, once the girls were done with theirs they immediately jumped in on ours and cleaned it up
The combination of the close flash from the camera and my whiteness almost causes me to disappear…

Hopefully I’ll have a video clip posted by next week of the Christmas performance night we had tonight… I directed my English students in a Christmas skit and they did great, praise God! My friend video recorded it all and will give me the DVD copy soon. Then I will post it. God bless!

Hahaha, so true about there being no need to “act civilized” when eating with kids. LOVE IT.
At first, I thought you typed, “I love eating kids,” and that really threw me off for a second.
