Church of China and Some Thoughts...
This clip is from the documentary "Finger of God." Its a powerful video to watch (you can find the full documentary on google video), but I must warn that it will stretch faith and is not for those who believe the Holy Spirit doesn't move in power today. This clip from China I wanted to show because it really stirred my heart and blessed me (my heart is for North Korea and Asia). I hope it encourages you. I left some thoughts below...
I write the following to apply more to the Christians who have grown up in luxury and freedom of religion like I have, but are hungering for more (like from the video clip): The hunger for miracles and desire to see the power of God released is strong in me, as is the desire to see the lost brought home. I felt the Lord reminding me though that what He wants more than anything is a relationship with us. That its not about the power, the signs, or even the number saved… that its about being close with Him each day. “For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you, except Jesus Christ and Him crucified” (1Corinthians 2:2). The amazing things will come, I know this, but when they do I sense our mindset has to be more of being in love with God than anything else, including the thrill/joy of people being healed, delivered, and saved. Our emotions can’t be dependent on anything else, including relationships… our strength has to fully come from that intimacy with the Lord. We NEED to be praying for the power of God to fall, for bondages to be broken, for healings and miracles to be released, and for the lost to come home (Isaiah 61)... but our motivation in prayer must come out of a relationship of deep love with God. We must never forget our first love. Its as we cling to Him that we become like Him.

I think of all the posts you've written this one is my favorite. And as you said, the Lord has BIG things for your heart, not your ministry, your heart.
