Pastor Chae’s 80th Birthday Celebrations…
To turn 80 in Korean culture is cause for a huge celebration. Pastor Chae, who started the home in the early 1960′s along with many churches, Bible colleges, and other ministries over the past 50 years, deserved one of the greatest celebrations. And he got just that. People from his universities, churches, and who grew up in the children’s home all chipped in to rent the grand ballroom of the tallest skyscraper in Seoul to celebrate and honor him. That was quite an event. On a smaller scale, the kids and staff from Geon Christian Children’s Home but on a celebration as well on another day. Here is a video and some pictures from both celebrations. The world needs more men like Pastor Chae…
