  • Children’s Day!

May 5th is Children’s Day in Korea.  It was a beautiful day this year and my kids had a lot of fun doing activities together.  Enjoy the pictures!

Jae getting things kicked off by singing the “Children’s Day Song”

For the first activity, the kids had to colorfully write the three core values of our home along with another fun poster… here is Shalom Room and their dorm mom working

Meek Room’s work… I love the different stars

The Hope Room girls went with a “Let’s Be Like Jesus” slogan for their extra poster… you can faintly see the beginning of a light sketch of Jesus in the background

The next activity was to write on a paper apple cut out one of your hopes for the future.  Here is Joon Hyuk.  His reads, “To become a policeman.  And for Soo Ah (a girl his age) to give me a kiss.”  So silly^^

Kids putting their apples up on a tree

The kids always love the jump rope competition… here is Kyung Hwan and his dorm mom Sung Ok jumping together

Dal Woo and Hope Room dorm mom Sae Rom crushed all competition

I love taking pictures of groups of kids/staff jumping rope

    Look how high they get!

    With Soo Jin

I’ll update more pictures next time.  God bless!  =)
